What’s not to like?
The Girl from Everywhere is a cleverly-written and refreshingly unusual take on the time travel motif. The characters are well flushed out, interesting, flawed, amusing, entertaining, and diverse.
The twists and turns of the plot are exciting, unpredictable, surprising — I loved being jerked around from time and place, and experiencing the historical and the magical adventures being placed on my horizon. I can highly recommend this gem of a book!
